Since 1996, the Thames Insurance Group has been one of the main insurers on the insurance market in Azerbaijan.

Thames Insurance Group is the joint venture between Azerbaijan and Great Britain and has shareholders in both countries.

Thames Insurance Group has a subsidiary company, carrying out its activity within more than 8 years in Kyrgyzstan. From the beginning of 2004, Thames Insurance Group has been chosen as the regional centre for the companies in Caucasus and the Middle Asia.

Thames Insurance Group keeps widening its scope of activity in the international sphere. In 2004, the Thames Insurance Group, became a major shareholder in "Anglo-Kyrgyz Insurance Company" based in Bishkek, in Republic of Kyrgyzstan and in doing so became the first and sole insurance company in Azerbaijan to establish a foreign insurance company.

In 2005 we were award the international certificate ISO 9001:2000 Company for System Management Quality certificate.

One of the major achievements for the Company was when we were awarded the title of "The Best Motor Insurance Company of 2005".

Over the past years the financial strength and growth increases year by year. Currently, Thames Insurance Group is one of the most dynamic and rapidly developing companies in the insurance market of Azerbaijan.
